About the Provider
SquareCare Montessori San Jose is a Bilingual (English Chinese) Montessori Program school/ child care that focuses on educating children through exploration of the environment using natural developmentally appropriate Montessori materials. Our curriculum focuses on language development, motor skills, and social-emotional development. Students learn English and Mandarin languages through songs and games, and they enjoy many other developmental activities, such as reading, cooking, music, gardening, art, farming and dancing!

Business hours: 8:30 am - 5.30 pm
Year-round program
Full-time 5 days/week
Part-time: 3,2 days/week, Half-day

Daily Rhythm:
8:30 AM-10:30 AM Arrival and Montessori Morning Work Period
Children arrive then start the Montessori Morning work cycle by freely choosing the activities: practical life, sensorial, language, music, art, and story. The teacher will observe and give group or individual lessons. Snacks are served throughout the morning.
10:30 AM-11:30 PM Outdoor playground time
(Free play activities that help children engage in physical fitness that builds strength, burns energy, and develops social skills and gross motor skills.)
11:30 PM-12:30 PM Lunchtime/clean up
Children will set tables to serve themselves and clean up after. Children are given the opportunity to practice table manners and socialize quietly.
12:30 PM-3:00 PM Nap time
3:00 PM-4:00 PM Snack time and afternoon work period
4:00 PM- 5:00 PM Perceptual-motor program and free playground time
Weather permitting. Planned Perceptual-Motor lessons will be offered to help children develop their gross motor skills.
5:00 PM-5:30 PM Prepare for dismissal.
Subject to change based on child’s needs:
9:30 am infant morning nap
12:30 pm toddler mid day nap
3:30pm infant afternoon nap
