About the Provider
Spanish Grove Academy serves children 18 months – 5 years of age. Education is paramount at Spanish Grove Academy (SGA) and so is our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for every child. SGA offers a bilingual education and classroom environments that serve the variety of learning styles that encapsulate growing children at all different developmental stages. Spanish Grove Academy’s curriculum is theme-based with clearly defined centers that offer the children the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the theme through fun, engaging activities ~ language arts, math, science, sensory, dramatic play, blocks and building, library, computer, and art. Theme-based curriculum allows a child to fully explore the different aspects, and become more comfortable with, a particular topic. Using a particular theme teachers create experiences in each center that relate to the topic thus increasing the child’s range of knowledge. At SGA no matter what “play activity” the child is engaged in they are learning!
