About the Provider

Description: Sonshine Christian Academy is a ministry of Bethel Christian Center. Our goal is to provide quality, Christ-centered education everyday. All of our students, from our youngest toddler in the Transitional class, to our oldest Kindergarten student, are given the opportunity to learn and explore the world around them in a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. Our experienced and caring staff seeks to help lay meaningful foundations in our student’s lives. All of our classes are taught from a Biblical perspective and a Christ-centered curriculum lays a solid foundation for both education and faith. Our curriculum emphasizes the teaching of Christian principles and life skills, and de-emphasizes religious doctrine and denominationalism. Consistent parent-teacher communication, along with individualized focused learning promotes a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Sonshine Christian Academy believes that the family is ultimately responsible for the upbringing of the student, and so our school is designed to be a positive reinforcement of family life. Full support from all family members is imperative and expected for this objective to be accomplished. We look forward to partnering with our student’s families in enhancing the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual development of our students.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This center has provided not only exceptional care to my twins but loving care. My girls have learned scriptures, song songs with joy while being at home, not to mention the smiles of the staff that greets us every morning and evening during pick up! The center recently put together a play for Christmas that brought me and my family to tears! Best decision me and my husband ever made!

I wish I could give Sunshine 10 stars! My Grandson has attended Sunshine for about 2 years now & it was the best decision ever. I love the program and can not say enough about the people from the Administrator, Mrs. Bonnie to her Teachers, they are amazing.

Although the review says we contrary, we are indeed enrolled in a child care subsidized program. We are an academic preschool, offering music, art, gym, library and Spanish as part of our curriculum.
