Solomon Schechter Day School's Early Childhood Center with the Marvell D. and Stanley J. Ginsburg z"l PreK Program is located at Ezra Habonim Niles Township Congregation, 4500 Dempster Street in Skokie. 847.674.3206.

The pre-school years are a remarkable time for both children and families. During these special years, children begin to develop the skills they will need th

roughout their lives. At Solomon Schechter, we celebrate the uniqueness of every child. In our Early Childhood Center, we create a joyful, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment that encourages children to build positive relationships with their classmates and teachers.

Through these relationships, children learn, develop, and explore their world. And through this exploration, they begin to build oral and written language, make connections with print and visual materials, and express themselves through conversation, writing, painting and drawing. The ways in which children use their many laguages are the beginnings of literacy.
