Solid Rock - Wee Rock Daycare

This facility has no structure. They do nothing with the child. No art, no music, nothing. They put the kids in gym and let them run around all day long and do nothing them while they sit on their phones. The children do not even have toys to play with in the gym or in their classrooms. They don’t write incident reports when child get hurt nor do they contact the parent. They are constantly sending children home with the wrong blankets, clothing, socks, cups, etc. They allow the children to be dirty all day, meaning they do not wipe their faces nor wash their hands after snacks and lunch. They do not wipe noses either. Overall this has been the worst experience. Effie the Director, never answers the phone. She lets everything under the sun fly with her employees and she looks down upon young mothers. This day care is over priced because they don’t provide lunch or any kind of curriculum for these children. They are money hungry. I wouldn’t even let these people watch my dog. So much for this being a Christian based daycare.

This facility has no diversity at all, from the children to the staff. The kids faces are always dirty and a lot of kids are behind on developmental things that should be taught in the daycare. Employees lie to parents so they feel like the child is comfortable. My first day working here the staff told me all negative things about the parents and spoke poorly about the children. One child was even forced under her blanket face down in her cot bc she was not sleep during nap. I work in the toddler and infant room and later told the supervisor I found a better job.
