Description: Highlights: Offers traditional education to Cluster 3 students (But Smyrna is not part of the feeder system to traditional middle schools. Parents are expected to monitor their children’s schoolwork, support academic and extracurricular activities, and join the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Provides a full-time science teacher and a full-time technology instructor Extra help for students is available through such programs as ESS, student tutors, Smyrna/Moore Traditional’s Mentoring Program (with middle school students), and the RAMP-UP Reading Program (with Moore Traditional’s high school students). Smyrna’s Family Resource Center (FRC) offers activities and programs for both students and parents, including basketball and a dance team.
