About the Provider

Daycare in southeast Orem. I am a certified elementary school teacher (taught in the classroom 8 years) who decided to stay home and do a child care out of my home. I am located just west of Orem HIgh School. I teach a preschool curriculum during Child Care hours in the morning. These activities include but and not limited to number and letter recognition, songs, basic writing skills, and the all important but always feared SCISSOR skills to name a few. I have a very structured schedule that includes outside time, play time, learning time, weekly trips to the Orem library story time, and quiet time. Healthy meals are included. I am always looking for ways to give my kiddos in a care new experiences that will help them grow. My program includes preschool, activities, field trips, weekly trips to the library and of course fun. If your child is 5 and in kindergarten my program reinforces what they are learning in school. It is best if I have them in the morning when I teach the preschool curriculum and possibly drop them off to school or help them get on the bus. Each family will be given a parent handbook when they start.
