Findings: Complaint: The Baltimore County Health department contacted OCC to state the center will be closing the 4 and 5 year old rooms because a child at the center developed a sore throat and fever of 101.5 on 9.15.2020. The Health Department stated depending on the COVID test results, the rooms may not reopen until 9.28.2020. Despite contacting the Health Department about the incident, the program never notified OCC or their specialist about the situation. The Director (E.B.) stated she did not contact me because when she spoke to the person from the Health Department, she said she would contact OCC and make us aware of the situation. The director states the rooms were allowed to reopen on 9.17.20, because the test results came back negative for COVID-19. Complaint Confirmed. The operator shall immediately notify the office of a change at the center which may affect the status of the license, including but not limited to individuals living on the premises, operation of the center or telephone number.
