About the Provider
Silveira Kindergarten & Nursery School offers an exciting early childhood education program that encourages a life long love of learning. We make education a family experience by nurturing and guiding your child to grow while discovering and exploring the world. Our curriculum combines tradition and cutting edge practices around the RI department of Education’s Early Learning Standards and the Grade Level Expectations for Kindergarten. We integrate structure with freedom of expression through play and hands on activities across our curriculum, our enrichment programs and opportunities for parent involvement. And we make school fun! Our teachers are caring educators and highly trained in their fields. As the oldest private preschool on Aquidneck Island, we have a proud tradition of offering our students a happy, clean, quality-learning environment including our large open classrooms, a new gymnasium, a large fenced playground and over 20 acres of nature trails.
