Description: EBCAP Head Start provides an extended-day early childhood education program for preschool children at the Kennedy School. Classrooms have no more than 18 children, and are supervised by a lead teacher, an associate teacher and a teacher assistant. There is no charge for Head Start or State Funded Pre-K hours, however extended day hours can be paid for through the RI Child Care Assistance Program or by the family. Extended-day classrooms are available and prioritized for working families and families attending job training programs. Families must meet eligibility criteria to enroll in this program.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
