Description: We, the faculty and staff of Shoals Elementary School, believe that educated and skilled young people are the greatest resource of our community. Therefore, we dedicate ourselves to the promotion of a desirable and productive learning environment in order to achieve the total development of each individual child.

We recognize the need to offer a curriculum, which includes personalized experiences, instruction, and opportunities to enable each student to develop culturally at a rate he or she is able to achieve.
We believe it is our responsibility to use all available resources to guide students in such a way that they will be able to think critically, to develop understanding, and to acquire the skills necessary for life. in this way we will help students become productive members of a rapidly changing society.
We will strive to educate the total child by working closely with the home and community to provide a school climate where each student can learn in an atmosphere of understanding, achievement, acceptance and love.
