Description:
Calvary Baptist Preschool (CBP) is a full day program for 1, 2, 3 and 4-year-old children. Our goal is to provide children with supervision and instruction in a safe, loving, and distinctively Christian environment. Academics are covered in the morning, with lunch, arts & crafts, naps, snacks, free play inside and out, and organized activities in the afternoon. CBP is a preparatory program designed to equip children for an easy and successful transition into kindergarten at Calvary Christian School on King (CCS) or other kindergarten of choice. The one, two and three-year-old pre-school and four-year-old pre-kindergarten programs are designed to teach children about our wonderful Lord Jesus and prepare them socially, mentally, academically and spiritually for kindergarten and beyond. Four-year-olds (K4) advance in reading and other basic skills that will be continued in kindergarten (K5) at CCS.
One, two, three, and four-year-olds become students naturally as they are exposed to phonics, numbers, art, poetry, and the Bible at Calvary Baptist Preschool. Using the highly acclaimed "Learning Beyond Paper" for 1's-3's and the Abeka curriculum for 3's and 4's, CBP provides a highly affective developmental and academic program, not just playtime.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. We are truly blessed that God has led us to Calvary Baptist Preschool to begin our daughter's educational journey. From the moment she started, our daughter has thrived here, waking up excited each morning to go to school and learn. The teachers and staff are not only professional and kind but have a genuine love for the children, which shows in everything they do.
In today's world, it can be hard to trust others with your child, but at Calvary Baptist Preschool, we know without a doubt that our daughter is in safe hands. She is cared for, loved, and taught valuable lessons every day. The administrative staff goes above and beyond by personally connecting with each family, ensuring that they understand and support our child’s welfare.
Communication with both the teachers and administration has been exceptional, keeping us well-informed and involved in our daughter's progress. We are grateful for the loving atmosphere and peace of mind that Calvary Baptist Preschool provides and would highly recommend this preschool to any family!
My 4-year-old just loves this school. He is so happy to wake up every morning and see all his teachers and friends and learn about God and all of the other great age-appropriate things they teach as well. We recommend Calvary Baptist Preschool every day of the week!
The ministry of Calvary Baptist Preschool has greatly influenced my family. My two older children were well equipped for Kindergarten at Calvary Christian School because of the structured curriculum Calvary Baptist Preschool provides. The teachers and staff provide a loving and caring environment for my children to flourish. I currently have my 2-year old enrolled, and I am thrilled that he will get to enjoy this same experience to prepare him for school in a few years.
Calvary Baptist Preschool is a place I know my children are loved and cared for. Not only are they taught academics at an early age, but they are also taught biblical truths daily.
