I want to say I have been a caregiver for many years and I know what are children needs. Looking for a day care for my 2 year old daughther the DCF sent me a referral list. After listening horror day care stories from my friends and reviewing alarming commets on some day cares I was discouraged to find a good day care match for my daughter until I went to Sheridan Hills Christian School. I went there without any appointment and I loved it. First, the entire building was clean outside and inside as well as strategically organized FOR children . The teachers were taking good care of the babies/toodlers. Everyone was focused on the children. They gave me a walk through the day care and they showed me, potentially my daughther's classroom, loved it. I asked questions about their curriculum, activities, discipline children, potty training, flexibility with children, etc...and all the answers matched my parenting style. I think I spent about 1h 30m with the Director(who happened to be available) answering my questions, they were patient and willing to answer all of them. The Director and her assistant were very devoted to their responsabilities. I am planning on signing up my daughter half days and see how it goes. As far as tuition and all other fees I dont think is expensive. I will recomend parents visit this day care to make their own opininon and at least compare it with other day cares.
