Noncompliance Area: During Renewal Inspection 4-24-19, the cabinet door under the sink upstairs did not have a properly functioning safety latch to prevent the children's access to the cleaning products inside the cabinet.

Correction Required: Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be stored in an original labeled container or in a container that specifies the content. Toxics shall be kept in a locked area or in an area inaccessible to children, and shall be stored away from food, food preparation areas and child care spaces.

A new safety latch will be attached to cupboard door to replace the broken latch. All cleaning products will be stored in an area that is away from children or protected by a lock or safety device. The safety latch has been replaced as of 4-25-19. Will monitor.

Correction Required: Competence in first-aid is demonstrated by the completion of training by a professional in the field of first-aid. First-aid training shall be renewed on or before expiration of certification or every 3 years, as applicable.

As per the regulations, I will enroll in a face to face course for Pediatrics First aid and CPR for certification and will renew certification on or before expiration of certification ( every 3 years ).
