My child used to go to this preschool. I have watched on social media as one of the teachers at this pre-school has posted about having Covid but going to work, and then 2 weeks later posted about a father of one of her students dying from Covid complications. This was in 2022.
That same teacher posted recently a meme about snapping when overstimulated and said “apologizing to *her husband* and her kids at work”
So unless you want full grown adults who know better to give your family Covid AND POST ABOUT IT or snap at your children AND POST about it, don’t take your kids here.
During Covid NO Masks, little sanitizing and under staffed. Children there with colds and coughs. I passed.
Not a pleasant experience. Horrifyingly little communication from staff, especially the owner/manager. Nothing is spelled out in clear terms. Some rooms are extremely small and most are outdated by decades. The facility itself is nestled into various buildings in a tiny commercial park in Voorheesville. The facility has no modern security features like centralized check-in or secure entrances. Only payment accepted is cash/check. Good routines are established and the kids have fun, but its like stepping back into 1985. Paper notes are sent home and notices are randomly posted to doors to inform parents about circulating illnesses or policy changes. There is very little to be gained from Serendipity considering it has one of the highest weekly rates in the area. I might be able to accept its shortcomings if it was a bargain. It is probably convenient for those in the school district.
