About the Provider

Our "Friends" mean so much to us . . . Begun in 1994, Second Friends is a social preschool with a theme based curriculum. It is integrated into learning centers and group activities. It is our hope to build a foundation for children who will always love to learn and create, who are not afraid to make mistakes, who are aware of Jesus and his life, and who enjoy being a part of a community of friends. There are 12 children in each classroom. Children are grouped by age. Those children age three by August 1st are placed in the three and four year old classroom. Children who are age four by August 1 are placed in the Pre-K classroom. Children who are age 5 by August 1, but are being given an extra year prior to Kindergarten, are placed in the 3rd year classroom.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
