We had a very bad experience with this place. They admitted more kids than their license allowed. This caused them trouble with the EEC, and they had to terminate some contracts immediately. Some parents successfully sued them afterwards. We stayed but I wish we didn't.
- The kids used to sleep there a lot. Sometimes I'd pick up my daughter earlier and she's still be sleeping at 4:30
- Fast food
- But most of all, angry teachers - try to go to Griggs park to observe the teachers with the kids, and you will know what i mean.
- The manager of this day care seems to be friendly at first. But later she'd always choose "take it or leave it" approach - rude and greedy for money, the welbeing of your children is her last priority." If you don't like something you're free to go" (and forget about the deposit)
They're somewhat cheaper than many other places in the neighborhood, but still too expensive for the care they're providing. I wouldn't recommend this day care to anyone.
Until we started at School is Cool in Brookline, I did not know how happy children could be in the day care setting. My four year old daughter beams every night when she tell us about her day in school. My two years old sun runs through the door every morning to get to his classroom. It is a pleasure to leave them in the morning and to later hear what they have done during the day. It is a wonderful environment!
