As Principal of John Glenn Elementary it is my privilege to welcome you to our school. Our staff and I are anticipating another great school year. As a Principal in the Savannah R-III District for the past 16 years and having two children that have attended John Glenn, Savannah Middle School and Savannah High School, I have a great interest in the quality of our students’ education as well as the care and compassion that they receive. Through our monthly Character programs, after school clubs, tutoring program and great PTO support, all John Glenn students have the opportunity to expect many positive experiences. The staff at John Glenn is experienced, knowledgeable, nurturing and willing to discuss with you the progress of your child. I encourage you to keep the lines of communication open with your child’s teacher and our school. Our teachers take very seriously the role they play in the lives of the children in their class. Like you, we have high expectations for all of our students at John Glenn Elementary. We encourage each child to do their best and be here every day because our staff and students know that "John Glenn Stars Have No Limits".
