About the Provider
Lee's Sweet Peas is a small, in-home daycare -- so small that it's almost like a nanny-share! The biggest benefit of keeping my enrollment numbers low is that each child in my care gets some one-on-one time throughout the day. I am a young mother with 12 years of experience with children and a MA in psychology. I spent 10 years working in various settings (IE school, home, camp, daycare) with both typically developing children and those on the autism spectrum. I've used that knowledge to create days filled with lots of love, play, and new lessons for my daycare kids. The group goes outside at least once a day ... sometimes just for a walk, other times to a park, or just to the fenced-in yard to play. I encourage the children to explore and learn in the safe environment I've created both during structured times and during free play (unstructured) time. I love to cook and happily provide healthy meals and snacks once the children are old enough to eat regular table food. Days and hours of operation are: M-F, 6:30-5:30.
