Noncompliance Area: An inspection occurred at the facility and a review of staff files was conducted. The Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) requires that mandated reporter training is updated every 60 months. Staff # 1 had mandated reporter training dated for 7/3/15 and this staff did not update their mandated reporter training until 10/16/20. Staff # 1 did not update their mandated reporter training every 60 months per CPSL. Correction Required: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services).A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL. Facility Person # 1 may not work in a child care position at the facility. |
