Description: Due to an increasing number of students receiving services provided by the Helena School District Special Education Pre School and Rocky Mountain Development Council (RMDC) Head Start, the space available in the downtown Neighborhood Center has become inadequate to provide quality learning space for the early education program. We determined Ray Bjork School would provide an excellent location for children receiving Special Education and Head Start pre-school services. Head Start will continue to provide services to children at the Neighborhood Center, Lincoln School and Rossiter Elementary this fall. The long standing partnership between the Helena School District and RMDC Head Start will continue as we expand services at Ray Bjork School.
