Description: Rocky Mountain Preschool, while not a Montessori School per se, is based on the philosophy and teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori. She believed that "the child who does not do, does not know how to do." Our program balances the child's developmental need for freedom within limits with carefully prepared class-work materials and experiences. As a result, the child develops intellectual, physical, and psychological abilities.
