We had been in contact with this daycare owner for a few months leading up to when we’d need daycare for our son. The owner had verbally promised a spot to our child and told us she’d contact us to do a virtual tour due to covid. Which was fine. I continued to call her and leave messages to no avail. I finally got in contact 2 weeks prior to the agreed upon start date and she told us she no longer had a spot for him. She clearly had no plans to return my messages to tell me this and just left us stuck with no daycare at the last minute. I wouldn’t trust someone with this level of poor communication and organization skills to watch a child so it seems we dodged a bullet.
