Ready Roos Early Learning Academy was founded by owner-operators Marsha and Steven Karanikos. Marsha is a 'local', with her family based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. One of 10 children, with 8 sisters and one brother, her childhood never had a dull moment!
While Marsha is a PA-qualified educator, an opportunity to travel to Australia in the early 90's was too hard to pass on.
There she met Steven and marriage and family followed. Five children later, Marsha and Steven established and operated two learning center locations in Melbourne, Australia since 2005. In 2013, a return to the USA for Marsha and emigration for the rest of the family, two learning centers were established in Wexford in 2015 and Cranberry Twp in 2018.
In early 2023, they decided to expand on the key curriculum features of their successful school readiness program and converted their "MathZone - Cranberry Twp" location into a dedicated learning academy focused on preparing younger students for preschool and their journey beyond.
