Raising Stars Learning Center #2

I am resending a new review after my 8 year old was in the after-school summer program for a week. When we went to register and walked in the facility we noticed that my 8-year-olds little 5-year-old cousin was there and they were both very very excited because we didn't know that both of them were going to be at the program during the summer so they were very excited hugging and loving each other. After the first day my child was in trouble the whole time because he was spending time with his little cousin whom she looks up to he was told that they are not to hug each other they are not to spend time with each other that he needs to mind his own business and stay out of her business. He is eight and she is five again they are cousins. This went on for a couple of more days. Both of the kids would cry because they were being treated horrible. Then on Thursday they had an ice cream social one of the daily activities and because my child was laughing he did not get to participate or have any of the ice cream and his little five-year-old cousin was told to not go by the seesaw and because she did she did not get to participate or have ice cream that day. I went on their app and messaged my concerns and asked for a handbook and a letter explaining exactly what they told me that my child and his cousin are not allowed to do. again these kids are five and eight years old they're cousins and best friends this is a summer after school program for the kids to have fun and enjoy their summer but these people up here treat them like they're in a concentration camp. I was very fooled when I walked in because the girl that I spoke to in the beginning named Jasmine was very kind very helpful and then I called her today to ask about a refund because I had already paid for the next week and she said that I have to give a two weeks notice and I told her that she did not tell me that nor was it in any paperwork because I didn't get any paperwork or a handbook stating that and she said well I guess you're just out of luck and I told her that I would be taking this up beyond the daycare director and she said whatever. I hate that I had to even give this place a one-star rating in order to leave a review. Sadly this is the third child care center in Effingham county that I find horrible if more people were able to just sit back unseen and see how the kids are taken care of and how the teachers speak to these children. All I can say is God please keep your arms around these children keep them safe expose and rebuke any evil spirits that might be in the path of our children
