Description: Welcome to the PSU-FCS Preschool Laboratory homepage. The Early Childhood Development program at PSU helps people prepare to work with and for the benefit of young children and families. Our graduates are employed in public and private preschools, child care centers, before and after school programs, YWCA, county extension programs and parent education. The program offers courses that also prepare students who wish to go further in their education to pursue a graduate degree.
The Preschool Laboratory provides opportunities to interact with young children under the guidance of skilled instructors. Students in Developmental Planning! The Preschool years, Interacting With Children, Development of the child; Birth through eight, and FCS Student Internship participate in the Lab as part of their course requirements.
