House of Joy Childcare has the capacity of 7 children per shift from ages 6 weeks - 5 ( older for special needs respite care ) We offer traditional a. m .week day hours , evening-overnight, weekend. and respite care . We are a Matrix Early Head Start Child Care Partners. We nurture the love of learning in a safe , clean , child friendly environment. We use a research based curriculum and we adapt to each child's capabilities in an inclusive , multi-aged heterogeneous setting. We partner with parents respect each families culture. We extend the classroom experiences outside with gardening , meditation- yoga and a variety of obstacle courses , riding toys and outdoor instruments. We have Taste Test Tuesdays and Fun with Food Fridays. We do tours on Saturdays , text 313-864-6728 to schedule a tour.
