Being that I have only begun taking my child to the Paradise Learning Center for the past 3 months, I don't feel that I can adequately rate (via stars). However, if I had to rate cleanliness and friendliness of the staff, and meals I would give 5 stars. My major concern is language. Often when I try to ask my son's teacher questions about his day, she motions to the director to respond. Initially, I thought this was because she wanted to get back to the kids, however I am now realizing that her English is EXTREMELY limited (if at all). I realize now that my child is not talking quite as much as he should be at this point in his development because we are an English only household and his day is being taught in Spanish. I have no doubt this is terribly confusing. Also when asking how long he slept I always get the "full time" which is to mean the he sleeps from 11:45 to 2:00pm. Unfortunately, my son has never taken longer than a 1.5hr and is at a stage where he fights his naps. Again, I think the language barrier is the reason why clear answer to questions are not given. Unfortunately this focus on Spanish only is going to be the reason why myself and 3 other mothers will be taking their children elsewhere. I have asked the director about this but to no avail.
