Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Preschool

Our Redeemer Lutheran Preschool is a ministry to children

based on the Christian faith. We believe that every child is a child of God and that all

children can learn and learn best in a safe, secure, and loving Christian environment. Our

goals are to nurture each child's unique abilities, gifts, and talents through

developmentally appropriate experiences and to acquaint our students and their families

with the good news of Jesus' love and salvation.

The primary purpose of Our Redeemer Lutheran Preschool is to offer an

early childhood curriculum on the basis of the Christian faith. Our curriculum is designed

to be age and developmentally appropriate and follows the State of Ohio Early Childhood

curriculum standards. Activities are designed to enhance each individual child’s

intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical growth. Hands-on learning is

encouraged through participation in free play, art, music, large motor skills, science,

math, literature, and language activities and is supplemented by occasional field trips,

visitors, and special activities.

We provide a CHRIST-CENTERED education. We hold Chapel weekly, include prayers and Christian songs in our daily routines, provide Christian books in our classroom and lending libraries, and offer opportunities for the children to serve others in the community.

We have a WELL-ROUNDED CURRICULUM that prepares children for the rigorous academic standards of the Solon, Twinsburg, and local area school districts. Our curriculum supports the State of Ohio Early Childhood Learning Standards as well as promoting each child’s social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth.

We provide a SAFE, CLEAN, and NURTURING ENVIRONMENT for your child. We take pride in going above and beyond the state requirements to ensure your child’s complete safety while at school. Our teachers and staff love and nurture every child as a reflection of God’s love for them.

We provide many EXTRA OPPORTUNITIES for learning. These include weekly sign language or Spanish classes (4’s and Pre-K), weekly music and movement classes, a lending library, in-house and off site field trips, and a Large Muscle Room. We also provide daily snack and curbside drop-off and pick-up!
