Description: Our Lady of Good Counsel School is a Catholic parochial elementary school. The philosophy of the school is based on educating the whole child by providing the proper development: spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially. In addition to Religion, the curriculum of the school is one approved by the New York State Board of Regents and the Archdiocese of New York. Basic skills in Reading, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Physical Education, Art, and Music are taught. Technological skills and computers are integrated into the program. An Italian Language/Culture Program in Grades Pre-K through 8 is also part of our integrated curriculum. A well-rounded program of extra and co-curricular activities also assures our students of physical, social, and cultural stimulation.
