The Police Athletic League and the Public School 14 Vanderbilt School enjoy a partnership committed to the school motto Rise to the Challenge Achieve to Succeed. Now in its eighth school year The Childrens Place strives to empower youth to be productive members of society. We infuse a variety of social recreational educational and cultural activities with a strong emphasis on responsibility respect and safety. These after-school activities enable children to develop and enhance team building communication problem solving and artistic skills. We are constantly designing and implementing programs that enable children to develop and enhance these skills through activities that are challenging engaging and fun.
