Plan: The program is aware of the new ratios and will maintain staff/child ratios at all times. The program will ensure that staff/child ratios are monitored and ensure they meet requirements
Correction Date: 2020-11-06
Description: 340:110-3-286 - Ratios and group sizes

Facility was out of ratio in their infant and toddler room. The program had 6:1 in the classroom with 4 children under the age of two years old. The program was using the Infants and 1 year old's only ratio, but since they had two 2 year old children they would have had to use the Infants and older ratio and with this ratio the program cannot have more than two under the age of 2 years old.

Plan: Serious Transportation: Small child was allowed to sit in front seat of vehicle where air bag is present. Our House will no longer be using the front seat of any of the vans. In an emergency OHLC will follow up to date guidelines that reflects using a 5 point harness in the front seat. I would like it to be noted in visit and plan of correction that we were following old rules and regulations to which we put an oldest and heaviest child in the front seat buckled with the seat pushed all the way to the back because this is an older van without an air bag shut off. We do ask that the wording of the write up please be corrected to accurately reflect that the driver placed the oldest and heaviest child in the front, buckled with the seat pushed to the back due to air bag, as required.

Just found out this place has an employee who is proudly engaged to a known child abuser. I found it shocking they would hire some like this without checking background info. This employee is not only complicit being married/engaged to a child abuser I also learned she is pregnant with his child. Ask yourself if you want this person watching your kid. I recommend looking into it yourself. This was the DOC #595285, given to me by a friend.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My kids have attended this center for several years. I pulled them because I have had enough of the lies they tell about the kids. The owner only wants kids who are well behaved and god forbid your child have adhd or any other problem that makes it difficult to deal with. Teachers dress inappropriate for the care of children and then the kids get talked down to. And she refused to guve back a summer deposit which had not even been used. My kids had only been there 2 days out of the summer before I removed them

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

his is overall the worst daycare I have ever experienced. The teachers are very nice and carring to the kids from what I could tell. (They would always hug then when they seen them the next day.) The director is a joke. Multiple times a week I would drop my children off or be picking them up and she would be gossiping about the different "teachers" to the other "teachers." I was late one day (5 mins) and she actually told me that I needed to hurry and get up there, like I should speed or something. My son would come home with snot caked on his face. Not just under his nose, but caked across his forehead and even in his hair. I complained multiple times to no avail. One time I actually witnessed a child escape out the front door and run out the front gate while the owner, the director, and 3 teachers were in the room. They blamed it on another parent, but it was clearly their responsibility to watch. They would often call for me to pick my kid up because he had "diarrhea " even tho it was just soft stool from the milk they gave him (even though u repeatedly asked to not give him milk.) They allow other kids to use the diapers and wipes you provide. They wait so long to change the diapers that feces ends up on the children's clothes. I could go on and on!!
