All YMCA Early Learning Centers feature the following:

Educated Staff trained in child development, CPR and first aid.
Accreditation by the state of Missouri or the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) depending on location.
Kindergarten preparatory curriculum and activities:
Creative Curriculum is used along with Galileo School Readiness Assessment, which is a rigorous, evidence-based developmental assessment process. Three areas of measurement include: language and literacy, social emotional development and approaches to learning.

Activities that incorporate YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
Staff encourages discipline that encourages self-control, self-direction, responsibility and cooperation
Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack that meet CACFP guidelines
Planned daily routines that introduce kindergarten readiness skills
YMCA membership and program opportunities
Licensing by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services or the Kansas Department of Health and Environments, depending on location.
