Description: There are approximately 400 students currently enrolled at Oakwood in grades Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. Each child at Oakwood learns alongside students from a variety of cultural backgrounds representing various countries.
We strive to ensure a safe learning environment for all staff and students by maintaining an updated safety plan and through character development of our students.
Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. For those students who ride with parents we ask that they arrive at school no earlier than 8:00 a.m. unless they plan to attend the Community Schools Program. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. Car riders are dismissed first. Car riders are to be picked up by 3:20 p.m. Bus riders are dismissed to the different bus rooms until their bus arrives.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
