Description: Due to an increased need for school security, we are changing the past practice of allowing parents to volunteer with no formal volunteer training. Starting Friday, March 8, 2013, all parent/visitor volunteers at the Hancock and LaBrum Schools, must attend one volunteer training session prior to volunteering. The next Volunteer Training session is 1:30 pm Thursday, February 28, 2013, at John Hancock Elementary School. Each parent wishing to volunteer must attend one training session prior to volunteering after March 8, 2013.
