Findings: Per the allegation, the following was substantiated: -Based on interviews with Staff 1-6, the classroom doors have key pads and are kept locked. Staff reported that only the facility staff have codes that can be used to open classroom doors. Staff reported that teachers open the doors for parents when they knock on the door. -Based on interviews with Staff 1 and Staff 5, parents may not have been allowed immediate access to the facility premises during hours of operation because teachers may not have heard the knock on the door or because teachers were busy helping children. -Based on the interview with Staff 4, a parent may not have been allowed immediate access to the facility premises during hours of operation because the teacher stated that the earliest that they would open the classroom door is 12:20 p.m. when children are dismissed. | |||
