Top 3 reasons for the 1 star. 1. Staff does not allow parents to drop off child in classroom, rather they meet you at the front. They look out the window to see who is approaching the entry and meet you in the entryway. This never made me feel comfortable, but I still gave it a try. Looking back now, even during our first tour, the director only showed us the classroom we were assigned to and not the rest of the center. 2. Miscommunication. The director's mother (also staff) tents to relay messages to other parents, even after we already spoke about it. Her English is poor and when I addressed this with the director (her daughter), I was told "Just like you don't want messages relay, I'm not going to relay messages". 3. If you are looking for a "daycare", this place may work for you. However, if you would like your children's teacher to speak English and teach your child, this daycare probability isn't for you. A low level English speaker (I think) was hired for classroom, but no one informed me that a new teacher was hired for child's classroom. Daycare vs. Learning Center....a big difference. Overall, the day-to-day care wasn't bad. With that said, custom service matters. After I verbally informed staff that we would be not be returning after “today or Monday", I was not allow to return Monday. Staff greeted me on Monday stated (in broken English) "You said last day Friday" Staff went on to say "the director looked at the camera and you said Friday". So much about this is suspicious. This was diffidently my fault for not emailing director, lessened learned on my part. Why would someone look at a camera unless they needed to? Bottom line, this daycare just wasn't for us and we found a much better learning center.
