Description:
Empower Children’s Academy is the preschool program of Empower. The education division offers a variety of services to children with and without disabilities which include evaluations, integrated preschool classes and special classes in Niagara County. Day care is also provided to children ages 3 to 5.
Classes are held five days per week with full-day and half-day sessions available. Before and after school day care is also provided.
Lessons plans are developed in line with the New York State Early Learning Guidelines. Empower Children’s Academy is approved by the New York State Education Department, Early Intervention Program, and Office of Children and Family Services.
Empower’s preschool curriculum is modified for each student to meet their individualized education program needs. They are afforded maximum opportunities in their learning environment to strengthen their skills. These include making gains in language, social, physical and cognitive skills.
Specialized therapies (speech, occupational, physical, social work, nursing) are administered by qualified professionals using a full array of equipment for maximized benefit.
