Description: At the NCJC ECC, our mission is to incorporate the best practices in early childhood education, integrated with our Jewish values, practices, ritual and Hebrew language. We believe that every child is unique and should be given the opportunity to grow and thrive at their own pace, allowing them to learn in a place that makes them feel safe both physically and emotionally. Our school is built on learning through play. We strongly believe that hands-on, experiential learning is essential to nurturing a curious mind and creative soul. We follow NAEYC standards, and are one of the only pre-schools in Rockland County to be licensed by New York State.
Our program includes push-in programs for music, yoga, Hebrew through movement, and sports. Our enrichment classes include math, science, emergent literacy and Judaic enrichment. The student-teacher ratio is low and our teachers are NYS licensed with Masters degrees. They are also CPR/First Aid trained. They attend continuing education seminars and conferences, to keep up with new ideas and concepts in education.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
