Morning Playtime is five stars without a question! I had heard wonderful things about Elizabeth and waited patiently for my baby to become the minimum age. If I had known about her with my first 2 children I would've sent them too. She is a total gem. My toddler never grabbed my leg at drop off, and to me that says it all. Elizabeth is friendly and welcoming, as is the playroom. She cooks nutritious meals and changes themes so students are always engaged and learning about current events and important holidays. She writes reports to let you know how your child is progressing, and is one of the most creative people I know. She is always open, which helps. She's out shoveling in time for opening, and she has created a maze in the deep snow for the kids to ponder. She creates with the children's hands and feet, creating keepsakes for parents to see growth over time. I cannot express how fantastic she has been. My child is so prepared for school; academically, socially and emotionally, but we will miss Elizabeth's!

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Elizabeth and Morning Playtime. Our son started here at age 2 1/2 and stayed until he was nearly 4 1/2.  Elizabeth is a completely nurturing, kind, and caring person who is incredibly welcoming to children. When we'd bring our son in the morning, he was never anxious about me leaving and would run right in, always excited to check out whatever toys and activities related to the monthly theme. Elizabeth would always get down on the floor right away to play with him, read him stories, sing songs with him, etc. This was his first experience in a school setting, and it was incredibly reassuring to me knowing that he was in such capable and loving hands.

My son also had great experiences with the other children in the program and formed some very close friendships as a result. I liked very much how themes would change each month and that there was good variety in the types of toys, crafts, and stories were presented. Elizabeth also makes a great effort to get outdoors with the children on a daily basis, even during the cold weather, which I really appreciated. Her backyard is huge and open and all fenced in, so provides a great space for the kids to run and play. She also provides a nutritious lunch each day and our son started eating new healthy foods as a result of things he had tried at school- also a plus!

My son is very attached to Elizabeth and I can only hope that he will have a similar experience in future schools. Morning Playtime is a very special place and Elizabeth is an outstanding caregiver. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

My son attended Liz's program for 3 years and it was amazing. Every month Liz focusses on a theme and her excitement and enthusiasm is contagious. The kids became experts in bugs, marine life, the circus and every day it seemed like when I came to pick Cole up he had about 10 new things to tell me!

Liz has seemingly infinite amounts of patience. She is able to work with all kinds of children, and I was always impressed with her ability to interact with each child wherever they were. She was able to meet them at their level and draw them out to engage the world.

Her playroom has so many age appropriate toys and materials and her backyard is a huge open space where the children have their choice of a large number of cars, sandbox, very cool playhouse, climbing jungle gym, or a relaxing bench swing where I'd often find Liz and Cole hanging out when I came to pick him up at the end of the day.

One of Liz's true gifts is her ability to come up with great crafts to create. In the 3 years Cole attended, it seemed like Liz would just keep trying to come up with new and exciting things for the kids to work on and make. She didn't want them to get bored and it showed in Cole's pride when he would bring something home to show us.

Two additional things:

1) Liz's entire family is warm and welcoming. Her children and husband are lovely people who Cole became instantly attached to and I think that is really important when looking at a daycare.

2) The other children who attend Liz's program were always great kids who Cole really enjoyed playing with. The families who use Liz are caring, thoughtful, and that reflects upon Liz as well.

I feel like I could go on and on and on. Cole's moved on to preschool, but he hasn't moved on from Liz. She comes up in conversation weekly, if not daily and her songs, sayings, and teachings are often brought up by Cole during the most random of times!! She became part of our family and I recommend her with no reservations. She's awesome!

My son attended Elizabeth's program and LOVED it. He was smiling every time we left him, and every time we came to pick him up. She has a huge back yard with so many things to keep the children active and stimulated.

Inside, she has amassed an enormous collection of very unique and interesting toys- many of which your child will not have seen or played with, which will keep him interested in coming back. She goes all out with the themes, with everything from pirate huts during pirate week, to tall, red and white striped felt hats for the kids to wear during Dr. Seuss week.

I really could not have been happier with Elizabeth's skills or the materials and outdoor space she had. My son learned a great deal and became attached to her quickly. We will miss her very much.
