About the Provider

At the Montessori Center of Nyack, learning is a natural and joyful experience for every child. Education is not regarded as the passive acceptance of other peopleâ€™s ideas and pre-existing knowledge, but the active pursuit of many different experiences--social, physical, emotional, as well as cognitive. Placed in a supportive environment where individual rates of growth and development are respected and nurtured, children develop a healthy, natural curiosity and a life long love of learning.
