Description: MINNIELAND ACADEMY at Harrisonburg, Virginia has served the community since 1994. More than just a daycare center, Minnieland at Harrisonburg is your child's home away from home with small group sizes providing teachers and students many opportunities for one-on-one-time. The floor plan for our preschool rooms has a unique, partially open design, making the center feel like an extension of home. Our four separate playgrounds make outside time extra special. We are conveniently located near James Madison University and Rockingham Memorial Hospital. The staff is comprised of experienced teachers and managers dedicated to the development of the individual child.

Our 2 young children have been at Minnieland for 1 year now and they absolutely love it! Before, my daughter was very shy and nervous around groups of kids but now she can't wait to see her friends and teachers each morning. She is always smiling and playing when I pick her up. And my younger son adores his teacher. Each day they bring home cute artwork and excitedly chatter about their day. Yes, 2 kids there full-time is pricey, but trust me I have scoped out other cheaper day cares in the area and they were not *nearly* as clean and well-maintained as Minnieland. Plus, Minnieland provides meals and snacks! A lot of other daycares don't provide them, the parents must bring them each day. So, I will gladly pay the little extra to have peace of mind that my kids are being well cared for. All the staff is very friendly. Our family highly recommends Minnieland :)
