About the Provider
Mimi's Monkeys Pre-School/Daycare is committed to creating a safe, warm, loving environment for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, creatively, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. We want to help your child increase their confidence, and self esteem by treating them as unique individuals, and allowing them to express themselves in a variety of facets. We strive to make your child’s time at daycare the best experience it can be for them as well as you, the parents.
In programming activities for the children we follow the Learning Box Pre-School Curriculum, which follows a play-based learning philosophy. We develop activities centered on stories, songs, math, fine and gross motor skills, circle time, science, music, theatre and arts/crafts. We strive to prepare your children for their early school years by exposing them regularly to letters, numbers, colours, shapes, name recognition, and new vocabulary.
We currently have openings for school aged children for before and/or after school from the ages of 5-11. We have an opening for a full time child between the ages of 18 months and 5 years, and one for part-time (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) 18 months-5years. We also have Fridays open for 6 cildren 18 months-5 years. Our hours of operation are from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
There are two of us here. Mijanou Sampers (owner) with 25 years of teaching experience, and Maria Sampers (19 - Elementary Education student)
