About the Provider

Milwaukee's Learning academy is a state Certified family child care located in my home near Miller Parkway. Days and hours of operation are Sat-Sun 6am-10pm.I provide smoke-free pet free environment. We also participate in the WECA food program and state assistance accepted. I am currently a student at Alverno College pursuing my bachelors degree in education. My job as a provider is to establish an environment in which children feel welcomed, safe, respected and free to create, imagine and discover. I believe as a provider I can help the children grow by creating an environment that inspires them to learn at a pace which is comfortable, while still challenging them. I believe children need a consistent show of affection, love and respect. A place where they can find comfort, while stimulating all of their senses. It's important to encourage children to participate in a variety of individual and group activities designed to develop language, enhance physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth, skills and attitudes. My credentials:CPR, first aid and AED, state  certification, SIDS, SBS,skills and strategies of a child care teacher, medication administration, child abuse and neglect, fundamentals of infant and toddler, fundamentals of a family child care, music and language arts, health safety and nutrition
