Description: Messiah Church Preschool is a community outreach of Messiah Lutheran Church. Begun in 1966, our preschool has touched the lives of hundreds of children for over forty years. Description: Each snack served did not meet the U.S. Department of Agriculture Child (and Adult) Care Food Program requirement of 2 creditable food components from different food groups. The menus for the current school year were reviewed. There were numerous snacks that did not meet the requirement for two creditable foods. For example, today's snack was goldfish crackers and jelly beans; jelly beans is not a creditable food.

Description: The preschool did not have a kindergarten mat to be used for a child to rest on while he/she waits for his/her parent/guardian to come and pick them up in case a child would become ill while in attendance. The preschool sessions are less than 4 hours in length.
