I would highly recommend Sandra Mendoza's daycare. Our 5 yr old daughter has been going there since she was 9 months old and our 22 month old goes there as well. They are part of the Smart Start program http://www.sjpl.org/smartstart which means that starting around age 3 I believe, your child would be involved in a small group setting where a teacher comes to the daycare 3 days a week to teach preschool curriculm. Our 5 year old was learning so much through this program that we never felt the need to switch her to a formal preschool because she was getting one on one time with the teacher.
Sandra's daycare is based out of her home and she has one full time aid. They provide the children with home cooked meals, a clean and orderly environment, an inside and outside play area. She applied for and received a grant to improve the play area in the back of her house. It truly is a remarkable place and we feel very lucky to have found her. We live 20 minutes away but it is worth the drive to know that our two girls are in good hands.
Sandra takes great pride in the care she gives her children and treats them like her own. She teaches them lifeskills, manors, helps with potty training, getting rid of pacifiers or bottles or any other developmental hurdle parents need extra support with.
I just can't speak highly enough about Sandra and her daycare
