This facility is horrible. Some of the teachers are great, where others are there only for a paycheck. Multiple times I have to pick my child up, and found little ones roaming the halls, and the teachers don't even realize they are missing. The back of the building always smells like dirty diapers and the staff is not well educated. How can I expect someone to teach my child how to speak properly, when they can't even speak properly. The cost is low, but like anything in life, you get what you pay for!
Ms Felisha does not know what is going on in this facility. She never goes in the classrooms to check on teachers or children. She calls herself the director but is never even there! The teachers are mostly older in age and they just yell at the children all day. I can hear them from the hallway when picking up my child! I have heard threats of whipping also. The meals and snacks are awful. I will most definitely be finding a new place for my child. I would NEVER recommend McCarthy to anyone in Picayune!! I would give it no stars if that was an option.
