First of all, I reconsidered this place due to it being close by Home and the place was licensed with 4 stars parent award ratings. After two days, I would definitely not recommend it anyone. The lady was found napping at time of pickup and she was still as I got my children ready to leave. My children was sick for the remainder of the week with a stomach virus and everyone in the home also got it.
They were very friendly. The mother(Mao) and father(Akito) are the licensed care takers of the home daycare. The father works a 2nd shift job so he won't be available in the afternoon to late evenings. They have their older daughter who is in college helping out. The number of children under 5 is probably 6-7 and there are about more than 8 school age kids. They don't cook any food inside their house because they do it in the garage. There is no fence around their property. The house is located in a bend/cul-de-sac. There will be time where there are unsupervised kids playing outside around their driveway and front lawn. I used them as a part-timer for about 8 months or so. They didn't demand for us to provide an application or sign a contract for the first 4 months or so because they wanted us to give them a trial run first. The mother feeds the kids instant noodles, fruits, hot dogs and sometimes meat. I would say if you are looking for affordable daycare, this would be it. But keep in mind that you pay for what you get. Cheap price equals cheap service. I wouldn't recommend them for full time daycare because the amount of kids to adult is uncomfortable to me. Part-time is probably doable, depending on time of day.
