Little Friends Learning Center

Little Friends Learning Center is a private, no-profit Christian organization, licensed by the state of California. Our teacher's meet all state educational qualifications and provide loving understanding guidance to each child. We are sponsored in part by Citrus Heights Friends Church, a Bible-based Christian organization.

Our educational purpose is to promote the healthy development of the young child in a safe and loving environment. Our staff utilizes a variety of methods and materials to stimulate the child's natural desire to learn. Our lesson plans encourage creative expression, discovery and learning through hands on projects. All of our teachers use developmentally appropriate curriculum to allow children the opportunity to unpack and discover their world through science, arts, music and literature.

At Little Friends, we believe that social and spiritual growth are also important in the development of your young child. We help children learn to share and to express their feelings through words. It is our goal to teach them how to make choices that will make them successful in their relationships with their peers and their family.

Chapel is a great time for the students to learn Christian attitudes and good citizenship. Children are taught principles from the Bible about sharing, compassion for others, and friendship. They sing songs and pray to God. We help the children know that they are special to God and always loved by Him. (Denominational doctrine and philosophy are not taught.)

Children learn best when they have a sense of security and high self-esteem. Placing children in a loving Christian environment where the staff is committed to providing opportunities to have fun while growing and learning, helps to ensure a positive experience for you and your child.
