The completion of both of these courses will thoroughly suffice keeping compliant and provide additional training for this teacher in addition to the hands-on training she does on a daily basis.

Although we had three teachers in the specific room and a total of 14 students, well within ratio, we need to ensure that teachers know who they are responsible for. As we know, all of our teachers know each and every student not only in the classroom but the entire school , we have provided name tag lanyard for those teachers who are responsible to child. In the case a teacher needs to leave the room, the lanyard will be passed along to the extra teacher in the room to ensure they know who they are specifically responsible for.

Although there was no malicious intent regarding the teacher using a lunchbox and/or pointer stuck but was rather to direct children and not hit them, there is not and never will be room any physical contact aside from hugs, handholding and various other tasks where a teacher must touch a child (i.e., diaper change etc.). In addition to discussions with all staff about appropriate contact with students, we will ensure that our teachers understand the "Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse" and have an open discussion about what we and state expect from our staff regarding immediately reporting suspected child abuse to Childline.

As a facility striving to provide the cleanest environment for our students and staff, we have continued conversations with the Church, owner of the facility, to ensure they continue to keep their portion of the facility to the same standards as the schools. We have discussed directly with the 3rd party exterminator the importance of maintaining a free of any infestations. In addition to us constantly cleaning all areas thoroughly, the church has agreed to increase the frequency of feeding the external bait boxes around the entire facility to help ensure no rodents enter the facility, even during the coldest winters as this and this being the first time we have had this issue.
